Description
Both went through an injury and lost the ability to fly, so they could no longer return to the wild. They were admitted to the rescue centre in 2019 and, once their acute problems had been treated, moved to the zoo corner at the beginning of 2020.
Padák – the rook from Prague 1 was shot; the second rook, who earned the name Kamikaze thanks to his fearless stunts, may have been injured in a collision with a car. Neither of them is able to fly properly any more. The rook is a clever, playful animal that learns very quickly and enjoys company. It needs its flock to live. That is why we are very glad the two mates get on well together.
Would you like to adopt one of the rooks? The fee for one is CZK 2,000 for 1 year.
