Besides financial help, we are also grateful for any material support. With the large number of patients passing through the centre every year, we get through a great deal of food in particular.

If you would like to support us with materials, the following are especially useful: 

  • small seed for songbirds or canaries,
  • sunflower seed,
  • pigeon feed,
  • feed for hamsters, chinchillas, degus and chipmunks,
  • dry food for cats or small dog breeds,
  • tinned food for dogs and cats with a high meat content,
  • tinned food for dogs and cats with poultry meat in pâté form,
  • feeder insects (live, dried or frozen) — mealworms, crickets, wax moth larvae,
  • fruit and vegetables,
  • sponge fingers,
  • hay.

For bedding for patients in intensive care we also greatly appreciate newspapers (and leaflets), wood pellets, dust-free wood shavings or straw. !!! We are currently not accepting unwanted clean cotton textiles.

We can also make use of older but working carriers, cages or aviaries, rodent houses, hammocks and hanging houses.
