Work placements for students

We are also glad to welcome secondary school and university students looking for a meaningful placement or internship. We offer both short-term and long-term placements, so you can choose what suits you.

What the work involves: Caring for animal patients at the rescue centre and everything that goes with it — preparing food, feeding, cleaning enclosures and animal areas, special care for young animals, assisting the keepers and so on.

You can apply for a placement using the online form, where you can also choose your preferred dates. We will then get in touch and agree the details with you.

Important! Before a placement can start, a placement agreement must be mutually approved and signed. The applicant must send the draft agreement (each school usually has its own template) to Lesy hl. m. Prahy for approval in advance, then have it signed by the school management and hand it over no later than the first day of the placement. The agreement is concluded between the school and Lesy hl. m. Prahy, which manages the rescue centre (the centre itself is often incorrectly named!). The process can take up to 14 days, so please allow for that when choosing your start date.
