Čokoláda the goat is a descendant of the Cameroon goats caught in the Šárka valley. You will recognise her by her light brown colouring and the white hoof on her front leg. She shares the enclosure in the Kamýk zoo corner with Karamelka and Čertice.

She came to us in a very serious condition with burns from power lines. Sadly, electricity pylons and unsecured glazed surfaces are among the most frequent causes of severe bird injuries — and of a stay with us at the centre.

Drápek was born in captivity at the Łączna Zoo Farm in Poland in 2016. A year later he came to our zoo corner, where he found his new home. He has been tame since he was a cub, so he is not afraid of people and cannot be released into the wild.

The fallow deer herd is the largest in the zoo corner. You will find in it, for example, the pale buck Eliot or the two sisters, the black does known as the Black Sisters.

Stařík the long-eared owl has lived in the zoo corner since 2016.

Few people know how hard female mallards have it in the wild.
